Formed in the seventh century and since scarred by many of its rulers today it displays a rich cultural history and historical significance. Protected by UNESCO pedestrians only charming Old Town is enveloped in 10th-century city walls, 2 kilometers in length, in some parts 6 meters tall. It is a must-stroll! Stradun, or Dubrovnik’s placa, is a picturesque street lined with cafés and restaurants, a perfect viewpoint to admire the architecture and watch the world go by while enjoying the fresh catch of the day and sipping on a glass of Malvazija.
