Our team will be your point of contact to discuss your holiday rental and help you choose your ideal destination and house. Once your house has been booked, our retreats specialists will help you to personalise your stay according to your requirements, organise extra services and discuss your wishes.

Yes, you can place a hold on a villa for free! There are no credit card details required and this option gives you 2 days to decide.
Simply make a request for the villa you are interested in by filling up the form that can be found on the page of your chosen villa. Once you provide us with your name, contact details and travel dates, a pre-booking email will be sent to your inbox.
Our travel consultant contact details are included should you have questions about your villa, booking details or need more information on your destination.

To reserve your property we ask you to pay a 30% deposit. Upon receipt of your deposit we will send you the Booking Confirmation and the “Accommodation Voucher”, which includes full information, driving directions, contact name and telephone numbers of housekeeper.
All tenants are advised to consider insurance needs in relation to travel, accident, medical and personal cover, Villas & Retreats cannot accept liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage sustained by tenants.
Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges (less any applicable excess) under the terms of your insurance policy. Claims must be made directly to the insurance company concerned and we can supply a cancellation invoice upon request.

The final amount (balance)  must be received 8 weeks prior to your check in date otherwise we reserve the right to cancel the booking and re-let the property. 

In the unfortunate event of you needing to cancel all or part of your holiday we will be obliged to make the following charges: 

Mid-range properties

  • Cancel up to 60 days before your trip and 100% of deposit refundable.
  • Cancel within 60 days of the trip and the reservation is non-refundable.

Luxury properties

  • Cancel up to 90 days before your trip and only pay 50% of the total accommodation fees for the reservation.
  • Cancel within 90  days of the trip and the reservation is non-refundable.

All refunds are subject to an administration fee of Euro €150,00.

EXTRA SERVICES

V&R will be happy to arrange private tours, sightseeing and activities according to request. It is strongly recommended that any extra services are booked well in advance of your holiday to avoid disappointment.
A minimum of 8 weeks is recommended.

Should you want a fridge stocking or a catering for your party (either for a special evening or throughout your stay) this can usually be arranged.

As a result of safety and security concerns which all clients have when sourcing child care or babysitting providers, we prefer clients to make themselves comfortable with and to carry out their own checks on such providers. What we are sometimes able to do is provide a list of child care and babysitting providers in the area of the villa where we have been able to identify such services exist.

USEFUL INFORMATION

To allow time for cleaning, we would ask you to arrive only between 4pm and 7pm on the first day of your stay, and to vacate the property by 10am on the departure day unless otherwise specified. If your arrival is delayed please contact your V&R Host immediately.

If you are intending to take or rent a sports or low slung car on holiday, we advise you to check at time of booking whether the access to the property allows for such a car in fact many of the properties are located along uneven roads. As some roads are passable using conventional vehicles, it is worth considering carefully the model of vehicle you choose to drive.Please check with V&R Team at time of booking. 

Some properties are Pet friendly  while others not. That said, in most of cases pets are on request only and subject to the owner’s prior agreement. Please check with V&R Team at time of booking. 

The period when a swimming pool is open may vary depending on the property, the region, the weather at the time and even if a pool is open as cooler months may not be suitable for swimming. Kindly check with V&R Team for information regarding any specific dates and other information regarding the swimming pool.
